On this page we have collected information about our local area both now and in the past. The work has either been done by pupils or donated by local residents. Hopefully this resource will continue to grow in the future.

Annie George, a local resident talks about photographs taken in the village between 1900 and 1945.

The pictures and information in this section were collected by the George family of Grendon Underwood.

To celebrate the millennium, in the village, Year 6 pupils at Grendon School recorded interviews with Miss Annie George during 1999 and 2000.  Her pictures and stories are published  here as a record of what life in the village was like at the beginning of the last century.
